Entries are invited in competitive classes which cross the whole spectrum of imaging in our field. Whether or not you attend BIOCOMM 2001, you can share your work with others by entry in
BioImages.
You
can download the BioImages form here (PDF)
Prints
must be no larger than 11×14, mounted on foamcore and
framed with a 16×20 white bevel mat. All prints must be
shipped in photo shipping cases. Only 35mm slides mounted
in standard 2×2 nonglass mounts, with orientation dot,
will be accepted. Place slides in slide pages. Please do
not include any identification on the front of entry.
All
entries will be handled carefully by BioImages committee
members and judges. However, neither the BioCommunications
Association, Inc. nor its agents, assume responsibility
for holding charges, delays, loss or damage
of
any image in handling, judging, storing, shipping,
transit, and/or packaging.

media entry.

of Entries: All
entries may be picked up on the last day of the annual
meeting. Note: All entries not being picked up must have
return postage included with the fee.
Publicity:
Awards will be
announced at the Awards Ceremony on Saturday evening. All
entries selected for exhibition will be displayed at the
Dallas Marriott Quorum in Dallas, Texas June 23 – 26, 2001
during the Association’s annual meeting. Award winning
images may be published in the News, Journal or other
publications of the Association and on the Web site at
http://www.bca.org.

The competition is
open to all.
Each entry requires
a separate entry label, entry form, and entry fee. Only
entries submitted in compliance with the stated
requirements will be accepted and considered for judging.
