Another successful conference has concluded.

Thanks to all who planned and attended the joint conference in Dallas. It was an excellent meeting, filled with intriguing and informative speakers, intensive workshops, and exciting networking opportunities.

Streaming Media

"Streaming" was the buzz at NAB this year and this conference offered sessions and a workshop on the latest techniques and uses of streaming technology! 



Plenary III
is the Pioneer Lecture and featured
Jan Phillips,  an award winning writer, photographer, video producer, and workshop director. 

Jan Phillips presented: Seeing Our Way Clear: The Challenge of Creating and Communicating in Chaotic Times. Jan spoke about the healing aspects of our creative work and the importance of staying true to our own inner voice during these times of turbulence an high stress. details here


Plenary II was presented by Jeff Wheeler, Vice President and Director of Biomechanics at Knott Laboratory, which provides services primarily in forensic engineering, biomechanics, and animation. details here


 

Plenary I featured Dr. Ron Jones, Chief of Surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Jones was the Chief Surgery Resident at Parkland Hospital ER on November 22, 1963.

The events that occurred in the Parkland ER that November afternoon has left a lasting impact in American history and in all areas of Biocommunications. details here


Charles Farmer presented at the ABCD Management session – Visionary NMAC leader Charles Farmer kicked off the Sunday afternoon management session. This was a must see for anyone in biocommunications management, those aspiring to it, or anyone interested in the history and future of our profession. More details here.
