On
behalf of the sponsoring Associations and the entire
conference planning and support team, it is our pleasure
to invite you to “WIDE OPEN SPACES: Connection for
Communication”. This meeting is designed to
enhance the professional competency of our members by
education, encouragement and representing creators and
users of visual communications media in the life sciences
and medicine.

It is our hope that we can partner with our
commercial exhibitors and inter-weave presentations from
our exhibitors in our program sessions.
There will be a wide array of topics and I ask you
to consider where you could contribute to the program by
presenting either current or emerging technologies.
The
dates of the meeting are Saturday, June 23 – Tuesday,
June 26, 2001. “WIDE
OPEN SPACES” will be held at the Dallas Marriott Quorum
in Dallas, Texas. The
tabletop exhibits are scheduled to open Saturday evening,
along with the Opening Reception, BioImages and Learning
Resource Center. This will ensure maximum attendance in
the exhibit area. The exhibits may be left set up through
Monday evening, the 25th. Set up will take
place between 9.00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 23rd.
Conference
rooms may be available for those demonstrations that need
more room or privacy. The only meeting function on Monday
morning will be workshops.
You may want to use this designated time to
schedule special demonstrations, present a short paper or
otherwise promote your products.
The
exhibition fee for this meeting is $200.00 for sustaining
members and $300.00 for non-sustaining members per
tabletop. As
part of the exhibition fee, exhibitors will be furnished a
list of pre-registrants as well as a complete list of all
attendees following the meeting.
These are provided for pre and post meeting
marketing strategies, and have performed well in the past
to alert attendees to special offers or promotions.
We hope that you will participate in “WIDE OPEN
SPACES”. If
this is your first experience with us, we are looking

returning exhibitor, we are looking forward to working
