This year, one Exchange Program Award (IMIHEP) will be made available to a member of HeSCA to allow the successful applicant to attend the IMI Annual Conference on September 17-19, at the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld, near Glasgow, Scotland, UK. This is the second year of this exciting award, created in partnership with in the Institute of Medical Illustrators (UK). Full details and application form can be downloaded here. Please note, closing date is 10th June 2009. The winner will be announced at this year’s Media Festival Awards Banquet on June 20 in St. Louis! Entries for the 2009 IMI Awards are Now Open
The Institute of Medical Illustrator’s Awards are based on the recognition of excellence in clinical photography and graphics. The Photography awards comprise Clinical and Non-clinical categories. The Graphics section has two categories: Medical Information and General/Non-medical information. There are Gold, Silver and Bronze awards as well as a Platinum award, chosen from the Gold award winners.
